The furniture here a Millbank Family Furniture Ltd. is all handcrafted by the local craftsmen who have had the expertise handed down to them by their ancestors for generations. The wood is all kiln dried professionally to the correct moisture content.

Our exceptional craftsmanship process and our years of experience makes us one of the most sought after furniture stores in Kitchener Waterloo ON. The owner Raymond has built furniture for 15 years and has been in the industry for over 25 years so he has an eye for quality. We finish our handcrafted furniture with industry leading post-catalyzed lacquer so you can enjoy it for years to come.

How to Customize Your Furniture

We would also love the chance to bring your dream piece to life even if it’s not on our showroom floor or furniture store.

We have built many custom pieces of furniture. Many people customize our standard furniture just to get the best use of their available space and many more bring us a sketch, picture or just an idea and we will do our absolute best to build the piece just as you have dreamt. All of our furniture is made piece by piece so you can also pick from many options to make the piece fit your décor.

You can choose your wood, stain color, your hardware and glass options. You can also pick pieces. From any set to mix and match for the look you want. The options are endless so come in to see our sales persons to help you find the furniture that fits your style.

Warranty

Our Furniture is all handcrafted by local craftsmen out of solid kiln dried wood and if you keep your humidity levels between 30% and 50% it will not shrink or crack. But if for some reason your furniture does not stand up to normal everyday use we offer a 10 Years Limited Warranty on any construction defects with more details in store. Remember this is wood not metal so it can be dented and scratch. If some piece has received misuse we are not responsible for it and the warranty will be voided.

Delivery

We offer delivery to Southern Ontario based on your distance from Millbank. Our furniture is blanket wrapped to save waste from packing and our delivery men are quick and professional. For any customers outside Southern Ontario we use a local shipping company and wrap the furniture in cardboard and foam to protect it. Alternatively, you can coordinate to have a company of your choice pick it up here from us (we can package it for an extra fee).

You can also pick up the furniture yourself but as this furniture is handcrafted piece by piece and doesn't arrive in a container from a foreign place we do not have boxes for the furniture but expect you to bring your own blankets to wrap it in, bring plenty for safe transit.
