The solid wood furniture here at Millbank Family Furniture is all handcrafted by local craftsmen, who have had the expertise handed down to them by their ancestors for generations. The wood is all kiln dried professionally to the correct moisture content. We finish our handcrafted furniture with industry leading post-catalyzed lacquer so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Millbank Family Furniture is a family owned business that focuses on customer satisfaction first. Our goal is to provide a comfortable atmosphere where customers can be at ease and browse through our extensive selection of high quality, locally handcrafted, solid wood furniture and custom cabinetry. As a small business, we work closely together to maintain a friendly, honest and creative work environment, which respects new ideas and hard work. We strive to continue growth and development in quality products, with the same ethics we use to craft our products.

Custom Furniture
Our greatest advantage with working alongside local craftsmen is the opportunity to build custom furniture. Wood type, stain colour, hardware, fabric, or measurements to name a few.
We can either customize a standard piece of furniture to maximize your space or we can design and build an entirely custom piece of furniture from an idea or pictures you have.

Options for
Delivery
1. Store Pick Up: You can pick up the furniture yourself but as this furniture is handcrafted piece by piece and doesn’t arrive in a container from a foreign place we do not have boxes for the furniture but expect you to bring your own blankets to wrap it in, bring plenty for safe transit.
2. Delivery Within 250km From Our Store: We offer delivery to most Southern Ontario based on your distance from Millbank at an extra fee. Our furniture is blanket wrapped to save waste from packing and our delivery men are quick and professional.
3. Outside Our Southern Ontario Delivery Range: For any customers outside our Southern Ontario delivery range we use a local shipping company and wrap the furniture in cardboard and foam to protect it. Alternatively, you can coordinate to have a company of your choice pick it up here from us. We will need to quote this shipping and/or packaging for you based on your order size, packaging needs, and available logistics in your area.
Our
Warranty
Our wood furniture is all handcrafted by local craftsmen out of solid kiln dried wood and if you keep your humidity levels between 35% and 45% it will not shrink or crack. But if for some reason your furniture does not stand up to normal everyday use we offer a 10 Years Limited Warranty on any construction defects. Remember this is wood not metal so it can be dented and scratched. If some piece has received misuse we are not responsible for it and the warranty will be voided.

There are SO many reasons why we would return to Millbank Family Furniture in the future … and it all starts with Rebecca! Patient, professional, and, did I mention patient! Making choices is not easy, and minds DO change… along the way Rebecca provided guidance, assurance, and the experience needed to bring our visions to reality! Behind the showroom, where all the REAL work happens, there exists a workshop that must be the envy of all of Santa’s elves. The quality of workmanship being produced here is TOP QUALITY. From the selection of beautiful Canadian maple, to the custom staining and sizing… it all comes together to produce exactly what your sugar-plum dreams are made of! Everything was delivered on time, and set up by professional (again) and delightful young men who were courteous, quick, and chatty all at the same time! In-and-out, like Santa down the chimney! And no soot left behind. One last comment should be made, concerning a concern that we had about the center board of our beautiful table being, shall I say, less than perfect. One quick phone call, and before we knew it the table top was whisked away, repaired, and returned … a No Hassle customer service that left us in awe! Millbank Family Furniture really shines!
