I spent a very long time searching for a Southern Ontario furniture maker who would finish the bed I needed for my son in a water-based stain and lacquer. Karl was willing and able to find out if that could be done for me and was always friendly and helpful to deal with. He respected my desire to have a low-VOC home and I was thrilled when he said it could be done. When the queen storage bed arrived, I was very impressed with its quality and appearance and within a few short days, there was no smell from the bed at all–the water-based finishes were perfect! This piece of furniture is a beautiful and safe addition to our home. I will highly recommend Millbank Furniture to anyone and everyone who asks.
